Your blog made me smile and laugh and I only read this first page... The photos and video of Ben and Mary are sweet since we did not get to attend their wedding - can't imagine how many people would have been there had we ALL been able to come that wanted to. Ending that sentence ungrammatically but not going to change it...never end a sentence with 'to.'
Okay, your family is cute. God bless you guys. I especially liked your line, "Let us use this short life for His glory, and enjoy Him forever in the next." amen and amen.

You caught me. Now that my lurking ways have been discovered, I'll hang my head in shame and embarrassment and proceed to introduce myself. I can't remember how I found your blog, but it was sometime around your awesome Medieval wedding (wow... that really is a horribly long time to lurk on a blog without a single comment!). Anyway, your captions were hilarious, you went to all the cool events that I was never able to make it to in person, and (eventually) had kids that were so darn cute, that I was hooked. :-) I'm a homeschool grad living at home in Colorado with my parents and 5 younger sibs. You guys are are great, and my favorite parts of your blog are the very witty captions (as previously mentioned...), great looking food (that's actually healthy!), Melissa's amazing decorating skills (very inspirational!), and the wonderful example that you set of a close-knit, godly family that has tons of fun. :-) God bless and thanks for writing! ~Tayler

Thank you for the kind words, everyone! Now this is the stuff that helps keep me going here. :-) And great to "meet" you Tayler. I think you qualify as perhaps the longest "lurker" on here ever. Keep your head up. ;-)

Greetings Neidnagels! Since you have so profusely insisted upon me leaving a comment, I shall do so. I and my family have been following your blog for almost two years now, after I stumbled upon it in a most interesting fashion. One evening I was searching the net for the Book Of Being website, wanting to look up the price for the DVD (I bought it off of Blue Behemoth the year before and LOVED it) Alas, but the site was not found. However, I discovered Locksley and Redjack Productions Vimeo channel, and the rest of the night was spent watching your videos and laughing until I couldn't breathe. I then found the blog and was delighted to find that you all are absolutely epic and love much of the same things I and my family do. Thank you so much for blessing us with laughter and a look into your lives. William, Phillip, and Marian are adoreable, and they have the best names ever. God bless you all! ~Adrienne N. Locksley (obviously, we are related in some way, what with the Locksley name and all)

I was looking for a picture of you and the boys colonial outfits and thought it funny when reading this caption" Two years from now, it'll be him placing his hand on the brim of my hat. Mark my words." ha... and it DID come true! I marked your words :-)

After those words, I too will stop lurking, at least for this post. I can't promise anything. As usual, I greatly enjoyed your post. I enjoy seeing pictures of Melissa, your children, the Thomases, and the various activities that take place, etc. Thanks for continuing on in spite of ungrateful readers.words :-)

You probably have no idea who I am, but I remember to come check your blog periodically to get caught up on all the fun pictures with their fun captions. :) But most of all to check up on your cute kids and see how much they're growing. It was fun to see them in person at the wedding (you didn't know there were people watching your cute family from behind, did you? ;)

Oh no, Amber the stalker! ;-) Great to hear from you. Adrienne, is Locksley really your last name? If so, that has got to be coolest name I've ever heard. Adrienne Locksley. How do you pronounce Adrienne?

Ha! I was slightly worried that you would see me as some kind of terrible stalker (instead of the shy and unsocialized homeschooler that I am...), and banish me from the blog forever. So thank you for the welcome, and yes, I will hold my head high from now on since my secret undercover spy persona is out in the open and my conscience is clear. :-)

Alas, it is not my true last name. It is my on-line identity. Or rather, one of them. :D Adrienne is pronounced Ay-dree-en.

Small world. I was just talking to a dear friend of mine yesterday in Missouri. They are good friends with the bride (her daughter works for Mary too) and she was telling me all about the wedding. I met Mary and her family a few years back when we were in your state visiting our friends. Thanks for posting the pictures. Victoria

Goodness, Jordan, here I was trying to remain a lurker for a month and not post a comment on your very amusing post, but you force my hand! My previous comment was not for this post, but the one back in 2009 (http://www.niednagel.com/blog2009/virginia09.htm) regarding this picture of you and Marscel: http://www.niednagel.com/blog2009/oct270956.jpg

Hey! Okay, so technically I'm not an official "lurker" because I have commented before...I was just a long time ago. ;-) Anyway, I enjoy reading y'all's blog. My family and I crack up at your "What Makes You Beautiful" video! ;-) Have you ever seen the Piano Guys video of that song? If you haven't, you need to! :-)

I love reading your blog! For one thing, your posts always make me smile, if not laugh! Laughter is good for the body. :) For another thing, you do such great things...and last but not least, I have had the opportunity to meet Melissa's family and to meet them is to never forget them! We are fans. :) We'd love to meet you and Melissa and your adorable children sometime as well.
I loved seeing new pictures of Marian. She is too sweet.
Have a blessed week!
