August and September Fun
November 15, 2018
I don't usually combine two months, but life's been a whirlwind and I haven't been able to blog! I tell myself I've got to keep it going because it really is our family journal. I really su .... that is, I really stink at journaling, so this is the next best thing.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by!

And here we go ...

The Niednagels are out on a lovely pontoon ride with Melanie and Ben as guests. There's grandma and Jonas, also known as Jony Poo Squishy Bear.
And there's me and Marian, also known as Best Dad Ever and Ms. Frizzle.
We had two boats, and Jeremy's was extremely slow. Either that or I'm just a better driver.
From a distance we look like a bunch of shipped-wrecked clowns.
Kalea and Kiri.
The two lone ENTPs in the family, though still quite different in more ways than one.
Uncle Ben suddenly bursts out of the water. We couldn't tell if anyone wet their pants.
I love mid-air pics.
I really, really love mid-air pics!
Sorry, we just think our kids are cute. You know how that is.
Ben's favorite song is "Put Your Head On My Shoulder."
I let William drive. The life jackets are ready.
So on the way home we stop in the middle of the road. What is it? What wonderful thing could it be?
A tarantula. Only Jeremy would stop two cars for a tarantula.
Back home and we're enjoying a nice summer evening. We've got another critter in our hands.
lol, I love this pic.
We had the Servens over the night! So great seeing you guys again!
I couldn't pass up this picture. This is Jonas' face every time I speak to him sternly. lol, in the Brain Type world this is what you call "dominant feelings."
Time for a wedding! Melissa made the above collage. That's Micaiah there, the door greeter, sporting his expensive Gucci glasses.
Yes!!! Andrew and Hannah are hitched! What a glorious day indeed!
The Wong family. Something tells me 5 years from now they'll need a wider lens.
At the awesome reception in downtown St. Louis afterwards. Yeah, we're all looking pretty dang classy, I know.
All right, we skip ahead to a last-minute trip with just Jeremy and I to visit Marcus Schrader in Indiana for his birthday! Never can go wrong with Cheesecake Factory!
Oh my gosh, this was so fun. Driving scooters through Indianapolis. In case you're wondering, that's my car in the background. I just decided to leave it parked in the intersection.
Marcus has been a true blue friend for 25 years now. I only pushed his scooter over twice.
Let's just ahead again to a trip to Branson and Lake of the Ozarks! Jeremy rented a jet ski and kindly let us take it for a spin. My wife asked me not to take it too fast.
Forget that!!!
And one last picture of golf at Buffalo Ridge with our good friend Sergio! You know Compassion International and how you can sponsor a child? Well, Sergio used to be one of those children! Tell me that isn't awesome! Ministries like them really do make a difference in people's lives.
That's it! Thanks for stopping by!
